The limited edition range of Iron & Crystal sculptures is also expanded with new free-standing sculptures, including new colour versions of Orfeus and Ramses and several new wall mounted sculptures, including "Authority", pictured here.
Mats Jonasson’s innovative collection of snaps glasses, tumblers and vases, launched at the beginning of this year and based on the theme of his unique Masq collection, has been expanded by the addition of the “Rackarn” design, comprising a snaps glass and decanter.
In line with the growing popularity of large watches, Scatola del Tempo has redesigned its TimeSafe to accommodate 21 watches, which can be up to 55mm in diameter. Each row of winders in this A1 rated safe is independently programmable and the small drawer at the right-hand end of each row of winders can accommodate jewellery, or other precious objects. Illustrated here in Black leather with white stitching, the TimeSafe can be personalised to a client’s specification, including any colour combinations of leather and stitching, as well as the number of winders in the safe. Additional winders would naturally reduce the number of drawers beneath the winder units.
At the other end of the scale, the Rotor One collection has been expanded with the addition of the Sport model in British Racing Green and Dark Blue, both with the Sport bezel.
The new Singulator from MeisterSinger is a unique version of a regulator watch, which itself derives from the very accurate timepieces used from the earliest times in marine navigation.
Why unique? The answer lies in the arrangement of the hands. Other regulator watches designate the sweeping central hand as the minute hand, whilst the Singulator’s central hand is the hour hand, typical of all the MeisterSinger single-handed watches. The small dial beneath the 12 o’clock shows the minutes and the other, above the 6 o’clock position, the seconds. This structure would make normal cogs grind their teeth in desperation. It would be too imprecise, because there would be too much play, so MeisterSinger’s solution is a completely new technology called LIGA, which incorporates lithography, electroforming and moulding, producing the LIGA spring wheel, instead of a cog, which provides gearing without play. This, in turn, means maximum precision.
The Singulator is a little masterpiece with innovative toothless gearing.
