Mozart’s 250th birthday has been marked by Reuge with a series of exclusive
limited edition music boxes.

“AMADEO” is a limited
edition of just 24 boxes, of which we have the only one to be available in the UK.
It is an interchangeable cylinder box, with five cylinders, each playing three
tunes, so there is a repertoire 15 wonderful Mozart melodies including The Magic
Flute, Eine Kleine Nachtsmusic, Don Giovani, The Marriage of Figaro and more.
The box itself is veneered with Burr Walnut, skilfully inlaid on the top and sides
with flowers.
The retail price of this box is £6890. |

“Nozze di Figaro” is an
exquisitely shaped and inlaid box, created in an edition of 99 pieces, of which
only two will be available in the UK. The box is veneered in Burr Vavona and is
inlaid with Boxwood. Three melodies from The Marriage of Figaro have been created
especially for this important anniversary and are presented in this fine 72-note
music box.
The retail price for “Nozze di Figaro” is £1200. |

playing Glockenspiel from The Magic Flute.

and all the metal used in the jewellery is now rhodium or gold plated sterling
silver, so there will be no need for cleaning. |
